Work In Canada

Canada welcomes many qualified foreign workers in order to meet its temporary labor market needs. In most cases a foreign national is required to obtain a work permit in order to be authorized to work in Canada. We can assist you from start to finish in the process. You may even be eligible to apply for Permanent Residency after gaining eligible work experience in Canada.

Depending on your situation, you may need an employer-specific work permit, an open work permit, or support with the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) process.

Employer-Specific Work Permit – Tied to a specific employer, often requiring a positive LMIA confirming no Canadian or permanent resident was available for the role.

Open Work Permit – Not tied to a single employer; available to eligible groups such as spouses of work or study permit holders and certain humanitarian cases.

International Mobility Program – An LMIA-exempt pathway covering intra-company transfers, trade agreements, and other reciprocal arrangements.
